The exhibition space of Cham culture in Central Vietnam

(QNO) - The opening of the exhibition space of Cham culture in Central Vietnam occurred at the My Son Sanctuary on June 9. It lies in the series of the activities of the 6th Quang Nam Heritage Festival 2017.

The exhibition of heritages connection displays 8 artifacts and 30 images of Cham towers such as the ruins of My Khanh (in Thua Thien-Hue); My Son, Chien Dan, Khuong My (in Quang Nam); Duong Long, Binh Lam (in Binh Dinh); Nhan Tower (in Phu Yen); Po Nagar (in Khanh Hoa); Poklong Garai, Po Roome (Ninh Thuan); Po Dam (Binh Thuan); and especially, the mock-up of the distribution of these Cham towers. The exhibition provides visitors with an overview of cultural and architectural values of the ancient kingdom of Champa.

It is known that there are about 25 tower clusters with more than 100 architectural monuments in Central Vietnam. The legends, historical events, and spiritual activities relating to the monuments have made the Cham cultural heritage chain more attractive to tourists.

The exhibition will last until June 14, 2017.
