(QNO) - Vietnamese Prime Minister has just approved the master plan for Vietnam’s seaport system development in the 2021-2030 period, with a vision towards 2050.
Accordingly, Chu Lai port belonging to Truong Hai International Logistics Limited Liability Company (Thilogi), one of the Class II seaports (local-level seaports) in Vietnam, will be upgraded into the Class I seaport (national -level seaport) in the coming years.
Therefore, the Quang Nam Provincial People’s Committee has just planned to develop Chu Lai seaport by 2030.
It amis to turn the Chu Lai seaport system into one of the focal points for domestic and international trade and transportation in Central Vietnam, including Central Highlands, a connection between the East Sea and Central Highlands, Southern Laos, Northeast Cambodia and Thailand.
