The 4th Quang Nam provincial Congress of Ethnic Minorities Representatives 2024

The congress saw the participation of Mr. Y Thong - Deputy Minister, Vice Chairman of the Ethnic Committee, Mr. Luong Nguyen Minh Triet - Secretary of the Quang Nam provincial Party Committee, Mr. Le Van Dung - Chairman of the Quang Nam People’s Committee, and 250 official delegates from ethnic minorities in the province.

Speaking at the congress, Chairman Dung highlighted the contributions of ethnic minority communities in Quang Nam to the revolutionary cause of the Party and people both in the past struggle for national independence and reunification as well as to the present national and local construction and development.

The congress affirmed the consistent policy of our Party and State on ethnic issues.

The event also assessed the achievements and results of ethnic work, ethnic policies, and patriotic emulation movements among ethnic minorities, rewarding typical and advanced collectives and individuals among ethnic minorities in Quang Nam in the integration and development in the 2019 - 2024 period.

In addition, the congress gave out plans for the socio-economic development of Quang Nam’s ethnic groups and mountainous areas until 2029.
