Truong Hai Auto Corporation (THACO) has recently exported 80 more Kia Grand Carnival cars to Thailand. This shipment was manufactured at the THACO Kia plant in the THACO Chu Lai Industrial Park (Quang Nam).
It is the 2nd shipment of THACO’s Kia Grand Carnival cars to be exported to Thailand this year. Yontrakit Kia Motor Co., Ltd- THACO’s partner in Thailand will continuously import Kia Grand Carnival cars under the agreement of 560 units between two parties.
Reportedly, THACO exported 40 units to Thailand in February 2020. Kia Grand Carnival (Kia Sedona in Vietnam) has modern features, a spacious interior with 11 seats, right hand steering wheel to meet Thai traffic laws.
Kia Grand Carnival is the gas-saving product, designed to satisfy the customers’ tastes. Its price is more competitive than that of cars imported from South Korea. Besides, THACO committed to ensuring global quality standards and delivery time.
Implementing the strategies to join the global value chain, THACO has exported buses, trucks, cars, semi-trailers to Thailand, the Philippines, Cambodia, Singapore, Myanmar, Japan and the US.
As being planned, THACO will export 33 semi-trailers to the US. The number of semi-trailers is the rest of the 69-unit contract between THACO and PITTS Enterprises. The products meet all traffic standards in the US such as DOT, AAR, ANSI, TOFC, FMVSS, SAE and TTMA.
