(QNO) - As a pioneer in large-scale mechanical engineering and supporting industries, THACO INDUSTRIES continues to invest heavily in research and development (R&D) to perfect its “All-in-One” value chain, expand its product portfolio, and integrate into the global supply chain.
R&D- the driving force behind business growth
Under its “All-in-One” model, THACO INDUSTRIES offers a comprehensive package of solutions, including design, machining, injection moulding, welding, painting, and assembly, covering a wide range of components, machinery, and specialised equipment.
R&D serves as one of the three key pillars of its business ecosystem, driving innovation and ensuring the company proactively develops high-quality products that meet international standards and customer-specific requirements.
Over the years, THACO INDUSTRIES has focused on R&D across multiple industries, including manufacturing (automobile and motorcycle assembly, intelligent production management systems, and industrial equipment); agriculture (fruit packaging facilities, feed production lines, and mechanised farming tools); and logistics (transportation solutions and port cranes).
A large scale high-tech R&D Centre
In early 2025, THACO INDUSTRIES inaugurated a state-of-the-art R&D Centre spanning 30,000 square meters with an investment of nearly $40 million.
The centre houses design and material research labs, prototype workshops, and multipurpose halls. It features cutting-edge equipment such as metallurgical analysis tools, precision measurement devices, and advanced design software.
With a team of over 1,000 experts and engineers, the centre manages R&D across all stages, from market research and product design to material testing and prototyping.
It specialises in developing high-tech components, smart agricultural equipment, and premium interior products while collaborating with global partners for technology transfer.
THACO INDUSTRIES remains committed to innovation, sustainable development, and digital transformation, reinforcing its leadership in Vietnam’s industrial sector.
