THACO co-operates with LS Mtron to manufacture agricultural machinery

(QNO) - On January 17, a signing ceremony on co-operation of agricultural machinery manufacturing and distribution between THACO and LS Mtron (South Korea) was held at Chu Lai- Truong Hai Complex (Nui Thanh district). Local leaders and related departments attended the event.

THACO and LS Mtron signed the co-operation.

The co-operation is expected to promote Chu Lai to become a multi-purpose engineering center of Central Viet Nam.

According to the signed content, LS Mtron will transfer  technology to THACO to manufacture agricultural machinery and equipment with the localization rate up to 50% and distribute exclusively in Viet Nam under the brand of THACO in October 2017. The next phase is to expand production for export. THACO will participate in planning and redesigning the farming scale towards industrialization. It is also researching and manufacturing dedicated machinery for self-contained agricultural production.
