(QNO) - The all-new Kia Sportage was launched by Thaco Auto on June 17, 2022. Present at the launching ceremony was Deputy Chairman of the Quang Nam provincial People’s Committee Ho Quang Buu.
The new Kia Sportage consists of 2 designs (Sportage and Spotage X-Line) with 8 versions and 3 options (2.0 litre petrol, 2,0 litre diesel, and 1.6 litre turbo) in Vietnamese market.
Besides, there are 8 colours, including Glacial White Pearl, Runway Red, Sunset Red, Mineral Blue, Essence Brown, Deep Chroma Blue, Fusion Black, and Jungle Wood Green. Two latter colours are all new.
Kia Sportage’s interior colours are Saturn Black for Luxury and Premium versions, Sequoia Brown for Signature and Signature X-Line versions.
According to Thaco Auto, Kia is the oldest car brand in South Korea to appear in over 180 countries and in the top 100 best global brands.
Kia all- new models have been introduced in Vietnam since October 2021, including K3, K5, Kia Sonet, Kia Seltos, Kia Sprtage, Kia Sorento, Kia Carnival, Kia Telluride, and all-electric Kia EV6. They are popular with Vietnamese customers.
Also according to Thaco Auto, the Thaco Kia factories have comprehensively expanded and upgraded with a capacity of 70,000 vehicles a year.
They are equipped with the latest technology so that the quality of the products made in Vietnam is equivalent to those manufactured in South Korea.
They are also exported to ASEAN countries such as Thailand and Myanmar.
In South Korea, Kia Sportage is the best-selling C-SUV model in 2021 and the first 5 months of 2022.
Giving a speech at the launching ceremony, Deputy Chairman Ho Quang Buu higly appreciated Thaco Auto’s efforts.
At the same time, the government of Quang Nam will always accompany Thaco and facilitate the company’s investment and development in Chu Lai.
