(QNO) - The opening ceremony of the 4th TechFest Quang Nam 2023 took place in the 24/3 Square (Tam Ky city) on the evening of August 24th.
Present at the opening ceremony were Deputy Head of the Central Economic Commission Nguyen Duc Hien, Deputy Minister of Science and Technology Le Xuan Dinh, leaders of Quang Nam province, representatives from central and local services and departments, and start-ups.
Giving a speech at the opening ceremony of the 4th TechFest Quang Nam 2023, Deputy Chairman of the Quang Nam provincial People’s Committee Ho Quang Buu said that the event affirmed the position and role of Quang Nam and Vietnam in developing the start-up ecosystem.
TechFest provides opportunities to present and advertise local products to the public, encouraging the spirit of entrepreneurship and building a culture of entrepreneurship among all classes of people.
There are nearly 300 booths, introducing nearly 1000 start-up ideas and products, OCOP and typical rural industrial products at TechFest Quang Nam 2023.
In addition, within the framework of the event, several conferences, seminars, workshops, and forums are organised, discussing the start-up ecosystem.
According to Deputy Minister of Science and Technology Le Xuan Dinh, TechFest is an annual event that has occurred since 2015. TechFest Quang Nam 2023 is expected to closely link activities for the start-up ecosystem development between localities and regions.
TechFest Quang Nam 2023 will last until August 26.
