Tam Thang HTC Planning

(QNO) - Quang Nam People’s Committee has just asked Prime Minister and Science and Technology Ministry for planning Tam Thang High-Tech Park in the Chu Lai Open Economic Zone (Chu Lai OEZ) as one of the high-tech parks (HTC) of Viet Nam.

The priority fields in the HTC are diversified, including high-tech research and training, incubation, services and industries., in which high-tech products and services are the main focus.

According to the planning scheme, in the first stage (10-15 years), the this HTC takes an area of 250-300ha,  in which the high-tech industrial production subdivision accounts for 40%, the research and training field makes up 5-7%. In the second stage, the Park area will reach 500-600ha, in which the high-tech industrial production sub-division accounts for 50%; the research and training field is about 10%.
