(QNO) - The Tam Ky city’s delegation, led by Chairman of the Tam Ky People’s Committee (Quang Nam province) Van Tuan Anh visited and took part in the Sekong-Quang Nam annual meeting 2015 in La Mam district, Sekong province (Laos) last week.
On this occasion, the Tam Ky delegation visited Mr Bo Nhon, an ex-member of the Central Committee of Lao People’s Democratic Republic, ex-Deputy Head of the Central Organising Committee, ex- Secretary and Chief of Sekong province, who lives in Non-mi- say village. Le Viet Muong is Mr Bo Nhon’s Vietnamese name. He was born in 1929 in Cam Kim commune, Hoi An city, Quang Nam province and had a great contribution to building and developing the Laos’ Southern provinces, creating the friendship, solidarity and cooperation between Laos and Vietnam. He was given the 2nd class- Independence medal by the President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
