(QNO) - Hundreds of young people gathered at the Square 24.3 (Tam Ky city, Quang Nam province) in response to the Earth Hour campaign 2018 on March 24.

The Earth Hour campaign 2018 under the slogan “Go more Green” aims to call saving energy and protecting environment from the public, especially the young.

The event happened during an hour, from 8:30 pm to 9:30 pm. When all the lights were turned off, the candles were lit up in the shape of the number 60- the symbol of the campaign. The youth also committed themselves to save energy and protect the environment.

During the event, a lot of cultural and artistic activities took place at the Square 24.3, making it a warm and busy atmosphere. Not only the youth but the local people also took part in the event.

Earlier, the Youth Union of the Quang Nam Power Company also appealed to people for joining the campaign through a parade around Tam Ky city.
