(QNO) - The annual meeting between La Mam district (Sekong province, Laos) and Tam Ky city (Quang Nam province, Vietnam) has just been co-presided by Mr Phengsy Sylavy- chief of La Mam district and Mr Van Anh Tuan-Chairman of the Tam Ky city People’s Committee at the conference room of the La Mam Authority Committee.
At the meeting, two sides agreed to continuously propagandize the officers, men and people of two locals about the special friendship between Laos and Vietnam in the next time. Besides, the cooperation, support in the fields of education, health, agriculture, rural development, etc in the period of 2015-2016 were also accepted. Reportedly, Tam Ky city has supported La Mam district cultivation, breeding and veterinary medicine techniques, cultivar seeds, domestic animals, scholarships for 3 ex-students, training Vietnamese for 10 cadres…
At this meeting- some medical equipment with the total value of 100,000 USD (equivalent to 2,2 billion VND) was supported for La Mam district by Tam Ky city. In addition, Tam Ky organised to freely examine and give drugs to 300 who are poor and in preferential treatment policy of La Mam district.
