Strengthening the cooperative and friendly relations between Quang Nam and Nagasaki

(QNO) - The delegation of Quang Nam led by Standing Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Phan Viet Cuong has just had a working visit to Japan at the invitation of the Prefectural Assembly of Nagasaki. The cooperative and friendly relations between Quang Nam and Nagasaki was established in 2017.

Accordingly, the Quang Nam delegation paid a courtesy call and talked with Nagasaki’s authorities and Assembly of Representatives about the cooperative issues in the coming time including economy, culture, human resources training. At the same time, the contents of cooperation and exchange between the Quang Nam People’s Council and Nagasaki Prefectural Assembly expectedly signed in August, 2018 on the occasion of Japanese Cultural Day in Vietnam were discussed.

On behalf of the Quang Nam leaders, Mr. Cuong presented Nagasaki Prefecture with a wooden picture of Chua Cau (Japanese bridge in Hoi An city, Quang Nam province) - a symbol of the good traditional relations between two countries of Vietnam and Japan. The painting is displayed at the head office of the Nagasaki Prefectural Assembly.

On this occasion, the delegation of Quang Nam province took a field trip to some models of economic development in Fukuoka and Tokyo.
