(QNO) - In recent days, Hoi An (Quang Nam) has come alive with music. A vibrant choral scene, featuring performances from international choirs, has filled the city's public spaces, engaging both locals and visitors.
The 8th Vietnam International Choir Competition is taking place from April 9 to13 in Hoi An, with 1,200 artists from 29 choirs across 9 countries, including Canada, Poland, South Korea, Singapore, Thailand, the Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Vietnam.
In addition to traditional competitions, the International Melody Street Choir event, featuring free public performances, has attracted large crowds.
Choirs performed in Hoi An ancient quarter, at Kazik Park and Ba Mu Pagoda Gate, evoking unique emotions and resonating with the audience in the ancient setting.
The vibrant music and high-level performances have energised Hoi An, with intricate and professional arrangements taking the audience on an emotional journey.
The performances and exchanges have transformed the ancient town into a vibrant, living artistic hub.
The competition, also a celebration of culture and music, has brought together global artists and audiences.
