(QNO) - A conference on innovating strategic breakthroughs for rapid and sustainable development in Quang Nam took place on the afternoon of October 31, 2024.
According to a report from the Department of Planning and Investment, Quang Nam is focusing on three main breakthrough tasks for the 2021 - 2025 period.
First, the province is developing a synchronized infrastructure and urban system which forms the foundation for sustainable development and attracting investment.
Second, Quang Nam is participating in the Fourth Industrial Revolution, associated with the development of high-quality human resources to boost competitive capacity.
Next, Quang Nam is improving the investment environment and fostering innovation, aiming to encourage enterprises to innovate and integrate technology into production.
Accordingly, the conference discussed infrastructure development, urban growth, and digital transformation.
Scientists highlighted the need for synchronized urban infrastructure and skilled workforce development for the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
They concurrently gave some advice on coastal economic infrastructure and establishing an East-West network to boost mountainous area economies.
In addition, experts recommended strengthening Quang Nam's multimodal logistics network, developing urban tourist complexes, and founding a university urban area to support the provincial economic and social foundations.
According to Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Van Dung, Quang Nam will continue to refine and implement breakthrough solutions to reach the goal of making Quang Nam one of the developed provinces in Vietnam by 2030
