Starting the World Cultural Heritage Road of Central Vietnam tourism programme

(QNO) - To celebrate Vietnam Cultural Heritage Day (23rd November 2013), the tourism sector of two provinces Quang Nam, Thua Thien-Hue, Da Nang city and Vietnam National Administration of Tourism join to organise a tourism programme named “The World Heritage Road of Central Vietnam”. This event also aims to promote and develop sustainable  tourism in these attractive destinations.Taking part in the programme, for 4 days, all tourists will sightsee three  UNESCO - designated World Cultural Heritage Sites in  Central Vietnam: Hoi An Ancient Town - one of the major trading port and  a joining place of the Silk Route of Southern Asia in the 16th  century; My Son Sanctuary Site - a religious and sacred land of the once flourishing Champa Kingdom and Cham civilization from the 4th century, tombs of the Nguyen Dynasty’s kings and the Ancient Imperial City of Hue.The World Heritage Road of the Central Vietnam  will also be an extension of the East-West Corridor which connects Vietnam,Laos,Thailand and Myanmar. Leaving Quang Nam, Da Nang and Hue, the tourists continue to enjoy other beautiful landscapes of Central Coast and Highlands provinces such as Vinh, Quang Binh, Nha Trang, Da Lat… stretching about 1,500 km of Highway No of Vietnam.By N.K.BAO
