(QNO) - Nguyen Van Tien, popularly known as Thomas Tien, turned Little Hoi An from a little lodging establishment into a leading hotel chain in Vietnam and abroad by putting passion and perseverance into starting a business.
Thomas Tien founded the Little Hoi An Group inspired by Hoi An's charm and history, which captivated him 15 years ago. His vision was to create boutique hotels reflecting the town's culture and spirit. Starting with the Little Hoi An Hotel in 2012, a 30-room property at 2 Thoai Ngoc Hau Street, the brand embraced local warmth and heritage.
Tien envisioned a network of culturally connected hotels, employing locals to share Hoi An's history and cuisine globally. Guided by the motto "The Heart of Hoi An," the group has built a first-rate network of luxury hotels in Hoi An and Central Vietnam, including La Residencia (49 rooms), Little Beach (106 rooms), Allegro Hoi An (5 stars, 93 rooms), Little Riverside (42 rooms), and Little Oasis (132 rooms.
By year-end, it is expected to launch Little Dune, a premium restaurant and bar, at Tan Thanh Beach, continuing Thomas Tien’s legacy.
Till now, along with providing jobs for locals, the Little Hoi An contributes to building lasting values and preserving Hoi An cultural identity. This is the way of giving back to this ancient town.
For Thomas Tien, success for the Hoi An Little Group isn’t just about numbers but creating a heartfelt brand that leaves a mark. Local culture and people are key to his group's growth, elevating Hoi An’s beauty, and securing the group’s position on Vietnam’s and the world’s tourism map
