The opening ceremony of the Republic of Korea’s Consulate General took place in Da Nang city on November 6, 2020. Present at the event were South Korean Ambassador to Vietnam Park Noh-wan, and several diplomats from the two countries.
The new office will be a bridge to better the friendly cooperation, promotion on trade and investment, culture, science... between South Korean and Central Vietnamese localities including Da Nang.
Over recent years, the number of tourists from South Korea to Central Vietnam’s destinations of Quang Nam, Da Nang, Thua Thien Hue has increased.
In addition, South Korean conglomerates, including Doosan Group and Hyosung Group, have been expanding their presence in the Vietnam.
