(QNO) - The start of Tam Ky public digital library and activities to respond to the Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day (April 21) and the National Start-up Year - Quang Nam 2023 took place on the morning of April 21.
Speaking at the event, Vice Chairman of the Tam Ky city People's Committee Nguyen Minh Nam emphasized the importance of the library - a reading space for the people in the city, especially the youth, contributing to the development of reading culture, lifelong learning movement and positive social connection. It aims to build a "Global Learning City" initiated by UNESCO.
Reportedly, the Tam Ky public digital library is the first of its kind in Vietnam.
According to Mr. Nam, the Tam Ky public digital library is also a place of cultural and artistic exchange, inspiring and spreading reading culture, receiving books from contributors.
