(QNO) - The opening ceremony of the Hoi An craftsmanship programme took place on July 15 in Hoi An city (Quang Nam province). The programme is of the Vietnam National Tourism Year- Quang Nam 2022.
The programme of Hoi An craftsmanship facilitates the introduction and presentation of traditional crafts, handicrafts, and craft villages.
At the same time, it is a chance to honour the values of craft researches and of artisans’ creativities.
According to leaders of Hoi An city, there will be spaces for making and exhibition of traditional crafts that can meet the demands of consumption and export.
Besides, Hoi An with a wide space of cuisine closely attached to specialties in craft villages such as Tra Que vegetables, steamed thin rice pancakes, cao lau, Quang noodles, and traditional cakes. All of them make Hoi An more attractive and impressive.
In addition, the programme exhibits silk and brocade in Hoi An silk village, presents Coco Casa collection, rides bikes to honour the World Cultural Heritage of Hoi An, introducing Tay Giang tourism products, making an exchange of regional cultures, and organising Hoi An fairs.
