Lao Ministry of Health visits Quang Nam CDC

(QNO) - A delegation from the Lao Ministry of Health had a working visit to the Centre for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) of Quang Nam province on the morning of May 8.

At the meeting, the Quang Nam CDC presented their functions and duties, results and challenges when the Japanese encephalitis project was carried out in Quang Nam.  

The delegation from the Lao Ministry of Health talked about their national vaccination system, strategies for and difficulties in the national vaccination implementation in the next 5 years in Laos.

Then the delegates discussed the Japanese encephalitis vaccination and the use of vaccination data.

The working session was of the experience exchange between Vietnam and Laos about implementing projects under the expanded vaccination program.
