Hoi An to join UNESCO Creative Cities Network

(QNO) - Based on the current potential and strengths of crafts and folk art, the Hoi An city’s People’s Committee has recently had a plan to apply for joining the UNESCO Creative Cities Network (UCCN).

Launched in 2004, the UCCN aims to foster international cooperation between cities committed to investing in creativity to drive sustainable urban development.

The network covers seven creative fields: crafts and folk art, design, film, gastronomy, literature, media arts and music.
