The Mid-Autumn Festival, which annually takes place on the 15th of August in the lunar calendar, is a special cultural and religious event in Hoi An.

On this occasion, a lot of products are made, which is the explanation for local traditional crafts and types of folk arts.

The Hoi An Mid-Autumn Festival is a community-based event. It is an environment where the traditional culture of Hoi An is maintained and nurtured, and where the traditional beauty of related cultural practices is preserved.
