(QNO) - A signing ceremony of regulations on forest protection and development, natural conservation between the Forest Management Board and Forest Rangers in Quang Nam province was organized on April 19 in Tam Ky city by the Project on Sustainable Forest Management and Biodiversity Conservation in Vietnam (VFBC) funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
The event is an important milestone in sustainable forest protection and biodiversity conservation between local specialized forces of forest protection and forest rangers.
On this occasion, the VFBC Quang Nam handed over equipment SMART (Spatial Monitoring and Reporting Tool) to the local Forest Management Board and Forest Rangers to improve effectiveness of their patrolling and protecting forests.
