(QNO) - Song Hoai Hoi An Company Limited - the first electric taxi service supplier in Hoi An city (Quang Nam province) officially opened on June 3.
The first electric taxis in Hoi An are produced by Vinfast - a member of the Vietnamese conglomerate Vingroup.
They are new, modern and environmentally - friendly VF8 and E34 taxi models.
The electric taxis will contribute to preserving the green environment of Hoi An- a UNESCO’s cultural heritage site, a local and international popular tourist destination, to the local sustainable tourism development, forwards a member of the UNESCO Creative Cities Network.
Recently, Quang Nam has been named as one of the leading green tourism destinations in the world by Wanderlust.
Reportedly, by the end of 2023, VinFast will hand over the next 50 electric cars to Song Hoai Hoi An Company Limited, and reach 200 units by 2025.
