The campaign was carried out by the Management Board of Cham Islands Marine Protected Area, local people of Tam Hiep Commune and a group of people from the program of Action for the protection of marine environment.

These activities included cleaning the beaches, monitoring plastic waste, catching starfishes on the coral reefs, which have also been periodically maintained by the Management Board of Cham Islands Marine Protected Area in recent years.

The event contributes to raising local people’s awareness, reducing waste and limiting emissions to nature.
