(QNO) - Song Thanh National Park (Quang Nam province) is using technology to monitor and preserve biodiversity, contributing to the sustainable development of the park.
Currently, Song Thanh National Park takes advantage of SMART software as a supporting tool in biodiversity conservation and data management.
At the same time, the software helps manage and supervise the activities of the specialized forest protection force, providing timely information about patrolling and protecting forests and monitoring biodiversity.
Reportedly, Song Thanh National Park is setting up a biodiversity monitoring project based on digital technology application.
It is considered a sustainable smart solution for forest management.
The project includes a system of 360o cameras which will capture and send images of key areas in the forest to the centre for controlling and observation, bettering the forest management and preservation.
