(QNO) - Phan Thi Bich Thao (Dien Ban town, Quang Nam province) studying at  Da Nang University of Science and Technology has just received the first prize of The Student Green Architecture Awards 2023.

This prestigious award has been given annually since 2017 within the framework of "Vietnam Green Building Week" by the Vietnam Center for Green Urban Research and Development, the Vietnam Institute for Green Urban Science and Technology, Sen Vang Group under the auspices of Vietnam’s Ministry of Construction,  the Vietnam Federation of Civil Engineering Associations, the Vietnam Association of Construction and Environment, and the Vietnam Green Building Council.

Phan Thi Bich Thao’s winning project is "Center for waste treatment and recycling, creating products from waste in Da Nang"

The award is selected based on 5 criteria, including creativeness, sustainable location; resilience; reasonable design; green technology and environmental quality; and effective use of energy and resources.

The winning designs are highly creative, closely follow practical requirements and have profound humanistic values.
