Satisfactory results of the components funded by JICA

(QNO) - Quang Nam Union of Friendship Organizations worked with the delegation of JICA (Japan International Cooperation Agency) project and Minamiboso city- led by  Mr Fumio Kato on October 23rd.

Mr Fumio Kato (standing) appreciates many components carried out by Quang Nam province.

According to Mr Hoang Chau Sinh, Vice Chairman of Quang Nam Union of Friendship Organizations, 3 components (in the first and second phases) which are processing reach satisfactory results include vegetable shops of My Hung fresh vegetable co-operative, equipment for Tien Phuoc agarwood craft village, souvenirs shop in Binh An rest stop where the handicraft and fine art products are exhibited and sold to propagate Quang Nam tourism and cultural potentials.

At the working session, Mr Sinh proposed some more projects funded by JICA such as setting up Quang Nam traditional craft villages map; deploying the production and trade support programme for My Hung fresh vegetable co-operative; investing into the Quang Nam handicraft and fine art products exhibition house in Hoi An,  building a rest stop in the silk village…

Mr Fumio  admitted the achievements, appreciated Quang Nam’s efforts and committed to facilitate Quang Nam in completing the rest components and deploying the third phase.
