(QNO) - A workshop on spreading the students' awareness of wildlife conservation was organised by the Management Board of the Project on Sustainable Forest Management and Biodiversity Conservation in Vietnam, the Forest Protection Department of Quang Nam province and Quang Nam University on September 29.
The workshop was aimed at spreading the message of wildlife conservation to young people, contributing to creating a trend of protecting wildlife and shaping good social standards of civilized and sustainable consumption, and environmentally-friendly behavior.
At the workshop, the speakers shared useful knowledge about the importance of wildlife and biodiversity conservation to human life; the risks and the violations of law including hunting, trading, transporting and consuming wild animals.
They also answered many questions related to wildlife conservation from the students at Quang Nam University.
The event raised the awareness of the young people in general and the students at Quang Nam University in particular of wildlife conservation, contributing to protecting endangered species and preserving biodiversity in Vietnam.
