(QNO) - On August 4, the Quang Nam provincial Women's Union opened the 2024 contest for the performance of Ao dai (traditional Vietnamese dresses), ethnic costumes, and folk dances.
Present at the event were Quang Nam and Tam Ky leaders and more than 1000 women from all throughout the province.
The event marks the second year that Ao dai and traditional ethnic costume performances have taken place.
The contest was aimed at improving physical and mental health through sports and exercise, preserving and promoting the value of Ao dai, traditional costumes, and professional attire, and contributing to the preservation and promotion of the national cultural values.
