(QNO) - On January 12, 2025, Quang Nam province held a ceremony to welcome 21 tourists of the SJourney luxury train arriving at Tra Kieu railway station.
On that day, these tourists visited some famous attractions in Quang Nam, including Hoi An ancient town, the Au Lac cultural tourism site (Dien Ban), Thanh Ha pottery village, and some rural spots in Cam Thanh (Hoi An).
SJourney is developed at an international level. The 8-day, 7-night train runs across Vietnam, from Ha Noi to Ho Chi Minh City and vice versa. The ticket price is currently about 8,610 USD per person.
SJourney has 10 sleeping carriages and 20 rooms with a maximum of 60 guests per journey. Besides, it has a kitchen car and two restaurant cars positioned at each end of the train. The train only serves 2,000 passengers per year.
On board, passengers have chances to enjoy high-end dishes, combining local and international cuisine by a team of 5-star hotel chefs.
Unlike the Thong Nhat train, which travels at a speed of 70 - 80km/h, the SJourney luxury train moves quite slowly at 40 - 50km/h, allowing passengers to enjoy the scenery and experience on board.
