(QNO) - During his reception for the delegation from Hamyang (South Korea) led by its district chief Seo Chung Su on August 2, Vice Chairman of the Quang Nam provincial People’s Committee Le Van Thanh said South Korea is one of the important investment partners of Quang Nam. The province has attracted 48 South Korean investment projects of about 500 million USD.
Over the past years, Quang Nam has tried to improve the investment environment, reform administrative procedures. Tens of millions of dollars from South Korean Government’s official development assistance (ODA) has been invested in the fields of health, education, community development.
There have been seminars on investment promotion into Quang Nam province in South Korea. South Korea – Quang Nam cultural exchanges have been organized in Quang Nam. Currently, the cooperation between Quang Nam, Quang Nam’s and South Korean localities has been maintained well. In 2015, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed by Quang Nam’s Nam Tra Mi and Hamyang district.
On behalf of the Hamyang delegation, Mr. Seo Chung Su thanked for the warm welome of Nam Tra Mi district’s and Quang Nam provincial leaders. He invited Quang Nam leaders to take part in the Hamyang Wild Ginseng Festival in 2020. At the same time, Mr. Seo Chung Su hoped Ngoc Linh ginseng of Quang Nam province become a high-ranking ginseng tradename in the world.
