(QNO) - Standing Vice Chairman of Quang Nam People’s Committee Huynh Khanh Toan worked with the delegation of the USAID (United States Agency of International Development), on November 11th.
The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the cooperation in environment and climate change response. Mr Huynh Khanh Toan informed his guests of the actuality, ability to respond to climate change in the Quang Nam coastal and mountainous regions. He also mentioned the use of foreign funding to build solid infrastructure that helps improve competence for the community in preventing natural disasters.
The representative of the USAID appreciated the efforts of Quang Nam province in forestry ecological diversification and development, consolidation of natural reserves, restoration of salt-marsh forests.
