A tourism forum called “Vietnam Impressive Travel” on the theme of “Quang Nam: Safety and Hospitality” was jointly held in Nam Hoi An Vinpearl Resort and Golf on May 28 by the Quang Nam Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Tuoi Tre News.
Present at the event were Mr. Ha Van Sieu- Deputy Director General of Viet Nam National Administration of Tourism, Vice Chairman of the Quang Nam provincial People’s Committee Tran Van Tan, leaders and representatives of Thua Thien Hue province, Da Nang city, travel agencies, tourism companies and press agencies.
At the forum, travel agencies and tourism companies undertook to offer stimuli and promotions. 62 businessmen in tourism in Quang took part in the stimulus pakage called “Quang Nam: Safety and Hospitality”.
According to Mr. Chu Viet Cuong from Vietjet Air, the company has been offer a lot of promotions such as 200 0-VND tickets from May 15 to June 30 to domestic tour operators and 2 million eco-tickets to domestic travel agencies. The promotions aim at joining hands to stimulate the development of indigenous tourism after Covid19.
Deputy Director General of Viet Nam National Administration of Tourism Ha Van Sieu highly appreciated the positive response to the programme on “Vietnamese People Travel Vietnam”. He also believed in the revival of tourism sector in Quang Nam and in Central Vietnam.
