(QNO) - Chairman of the Quang Nam People’s Committee Le Tri Thanh on April 27 played host to Ms Dong Bi You, the newly-appointed Chinese Consul General to Da Nang city.
At the meeting, Ms Dong Bi You wished to receive the support of Quang Nam leaders during her tenure in Da Nang city.
Ms Dong Bi You said two localities of Quang Nam (Vietnam) and the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region (GZAR) have similar economic characteristics, potential fields for cooperation such as tourism, agriculture, human resources, infrastructure construction.
So, she is ready to work as a bridge between Quang Nam leaders and the GZAR to strengthen the friendship and cooperation and promote socio-economic growth between the two sides.
According to Chairman Thanh, Quang Nam always wants to tighten the friendship with partners, especially with the GZAR.
Two parties will firstly implement the signed contents. Besides, Quang Nam hopes to cooperate with partners in smart agriculture, climate change adaptation….
Medical, cultural and educational exchanges are also paid attention to by Quang Nam for a better cooperation between the two sides in the coming time.
