(QNO) - Agritourism in Quang Nam province has been becoming popular with domestic and foreign visitors.
Besides world famous sites such as Hoi An ancient town, My Son Sanctuary and Cham Islands, there are a lot of attractive tourist destinations in Quang Nam where visitors can choose to enjoy their experience. They are Tra Que vegetable village, Thanh Dong organic farm, Thanh Ha pottery village, fishing villages, Bay Mau nipa forest (in Hoi An city), Triem Tay eco-village (Dien Ban town), Dai Binh fruit village (Nong Son district), Loc Yen ancient village (Tien Phuoc district), Tam Thanh mural village (Tam Ky city) among others. Visitors coming to these places can learn about local culture and history, attend local festivals and especially take part in local daily activities.
Agritourism is spreading to mountainous districts of Quang Nam where there are destinations such as the Fokienia population of over 1200 trees, Poning tourist village (Tay Giang district), Bho Hong village (Dong Giang district), Co Tu ethnic community (Nam Giang district), and Ngoc Linh ginseng garden (Nam Tra My district). These tourism products are formed by the combination of agritourism and community-cultural tourism which develops strange unique new tourism products, providing jobs for local residents, improving their income, contributing to local socioeconomic development. Therefore, agricultural activities in combination with experience and cultural tourism will be given the priority in Quang Nam in the coming time.
