(QNO) - Phan Thi Cong living in Hoi An city decided to choose sedge mats for her start-up and initially achieved some certain success.
Cong started weaving sedge mats and making different products of sedge in 2019 when the Covid-19 pandemic spread.
She also repaired her house to make room for her mat weaving and her product display.
Weaving sedge mats is Cong’s family traditional profession; therefore, she loves it much.
She wants to develop it and to make other products of sedge as well. Cong hopes her sedge mat weaving will be more and more developed.
Currently, Cong’s family grows sedge to ensure a good sustainable material source for her production. So, her sedge products are usually nice, durable, and strong.
Besides mats, Cong makes several other products of sedge, including bags, coasters, seat mats, and carpets.
She also pays more attention to her product designs to attract more consumers and visitors.
