(QNO) - The number of international visitors to Quang Nam province has been steadily increasing.
Quang Nam, with its renowned destinations including Hoi An ancient town and My Son Sanctuary, has become a popular international tourism hub, earning prestigious awards and promoting a "Green Tourism Destination" brand.
Also, hosting the first UN Tourism Conference on Tourism for Rural Developement has further highlighted Quang Nam's cultural values and unique tourism offerings.
In 2024, Quang Nam is expected to welcome over 8 million visitors, including 5.5 million international tourists. Tourism revenue is projected at 9.2 trillion VND, with social income reaching 21.62 trillion VND. Top international markets include South Korea, Taiwan, Australia, the UK, France, the US, Germany, Malaysia, and Spain.
2024 has been a successful year for Quang Nam's tourism, with numerous national and international awards.
The Quang Nam Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism won the title of Asia's Leading Regional Tourist Board 2024 at the World Travel Awards, Hoi An with the title of Asia's Leading Cultural City Destination, etc.
