(QNO) - Quang Nam has achieved some certain breakthroughs in investment attraction thanks to the improvement of administrative procedures and infrastructure.
The Quang Nam centre for Public Administration and Investment Promotion recently put into operation is one of the important efforts to improve its investment environment. It is the model of three functions in one agency, including administrative procedures, investment promotion, and businesses supports. The provincial Public Administration and Investment Promotion Center is now working smoothly by the application of information technology to administrative reform. It is highly appreciated and attracts more and more investors into Quang Nam.
Additionally, the infrastructure system of Quang Nam has also been improved considerably. The construction and upgrading of the systems of roads, waterways, seaways and airway have been carried out and perfected. Quang Nam has also been planning and building industrial parks or clusters. Typically, the Chu Lai Open Economic Zone with a total area of about 4,500 hectares is the first coastal multi-sector and multi-field economic zone of Vietnam to be under international practice.
