The journey of Quang Nam
In his opening speech at the event, Provincial Party Secretary Luong Nguyen Minh Triet recalled Quang Nam’s revolutionary history, emphasising its transformation over the past five decades. Once a war-torn province with a struggling economy, Quang Nam has now emerged as a major economic hub.

Tourism and services develop well. Quang Nam received over 8 million visitors in 2024, including 5.5 million international visitors, while expanding infrastructure, logistics, and high-tech agriculture, ensuring continued growth and prosperity.
Future vision
On behalf of Vietnamese Party and State, Member of Political Bureau Nguyen Trong Nghia commended Quang Nam’s progress and urged the province to continue its momentum, aiming to be a key growth centre in Central Vietnam by 2030.
Quang Nam aims to strengthen governance and administrative efficiency while enhancing education, healthcare, and digital transformation.
The province is also focused on expanding its industrial and tourism sectors in a sustainable manner, ensuring environmental protection.
Additionally, efforts will be made to boost national security and improve regional connectivity, fostering long-term economic and social development.
The event concluded with a commitment to uphold Quang Nam’s revolutionary spirit and strive for further socio-economic advancements.
