(QNO) - Quang Nam is making a plan to receive foreign visitors to local tourist attractions.
Quang Nam is submitting a plan to receive foreign visitors for the approval from the Prime Minister and Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism of Vietnam.
The plan is aimed at gradually resuming tourism activities in the province, contributing to the local social security, and promoting Quang Nam as a safe and attractive destination.
The plan focuses on customers who have vaccinated, service providers, process of receiving tourists, target tourist markets, solutions to medical incidents among others.
In the first 8 months of 2021, the number of visitors to Quang Nam was about 403 thousand, down 53% compared to the same period of 2020.
Therefore, Quang Nam’s readiness for receiving foreign visitors is considered a boost for the provincial tourism sector.
Earlier in mid-September 2021, Hoi An city of Quang Nam province was voted as one of 15 Asian best tourist attractions by Travel + Leisure (USA).
