(QNO)-Quang Nam province will be the first locality in Vietnam to welcome international tourists back on July 2021 after nearly 2 years of stop due to the global Covid-19 epidemic.
Chairman of the Quang Nam provincial People’s Committee Le Tri Thanh said, tourists from South Korea will be the first international ones to arrive in Quang Nam province on charter flights and land at Chu Lai Airport…
These tourists will stay at the Hoiana Complex Resort in Duy Xuyen district and Tui Blue Nam Hoi An in Nui Thanh district in 5-10 days. The top priority is to ensure safety for tourists as well as local workers and residents.
According to the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, Quang Nam meets the demands of transport infrastructure, health and tourism service facilities for the plan.
In particular, Hoiana Complex Resort and Tui Blue Nam Hoi An are far from the residential areas, convenient for the prevention of the Covid -19 spread.
Chairman Thanh stated international tourists to Quang Nam must have vaccine passports and negative Covid-19 test results.
Local people who are involved in welcoming tourists are vaccinated and obey the regulations on the Covid-19 epidemic prevention.
The pilot plan to welcome international tourists again is of great significance to not only Quang Nam province but also Vietnam's tourism industry in the coming time.
It is targeted at the Vietnamese Government’s "dual goal" of epidemic prevention and economic growth in the new normal condition.
