(QNO) - On October 10, the Quang Nam province’s delegation led by Permanent Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Council, Nguyen Duc Dung, participated in the 60th anniversary of the Nguyen Van Troi Campaign (1964 - 2024) in Venezuela.
The event was organized by the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) at the headquarters of the Francisco de Miranda Front in Venezuela.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Duc Dung said Quang Nam province is the homeland of hero Nguyen Van Troi. The province is very grateful and moved by the special feelings, support, and love that Venezuelan guerillas and people have given to hero Nguyen Van Troi, Quang Nam and Vietnam.
On behalf of the Party, government and people of Quang Nam province, Dung sent his deepest gratitude to the Caracas guerrillas.

On this occasion, the delegation from Quang Nam laid a wreath at the Temple of Simón Bolivar, Venezuela's national hero and liberator, visiting the Vietnamese Embassy in Venezuela.
In addition, the Quang Nam delegation had a working visit to a locality of Venezuela, presented gifts to a school in the capital, Caracas, and attended the inauguration ceremony of the statue of hero Nguyen Van Troi.
