(QNO) - The Memorandum of Undersatanding (MoU) of friendship establishment between the Quang Nam Provincial People’s Council and Nagasaki Prefectural Assembly (Japan) was signed on August 17 by Secretary of the Quang Nam provincial Party Committee Nguyen Ngoc Quang and Chairman of the Nagasaki Prefectural Assembly Fumio Mizoguchi.

Accordingly, the two sides agreed to initiatively promote cooperation in the fields of industry, agriculture, fisheries, commerce, tourism, opening international routes between the two localities, supporting exchange activities, economic cooperation, human resource training and development.

In addition, the exchanges of sports, culture, people between Quang Nam and Nagasaki need to be strengthened. It is necessary to enhance the exchange of experience and knowledge in the cultural heritage management and protection, raise public awareness of preserving the heritage, better professional capacity and quality of two council’s members; cooperate and share experiences in policy establishment and decision-making for the local socio-economic development.

The MoU aims to strengthen the current relationship and expand the scope of friendship exchanges for the prosperity and development of Quang Nam and Nagasaki. The two sides will discuss new cooperative aspects in the coming time.
