Quang Nam looks for investors from developed countries

(QNO) - According to Quang Nam provincial Department of Planning and Investment, in 11 months of 2003, the provincial People’s Committee granted 5 new FDI licenses, with total investment capital reached 37.5 million USD and the total present investment capital stands at 5.192 billion USD.  

The total  investment capital of FDI enterprises, however, carried out just about 57.8 million USD, paid over 434 billion VND to national budget and created 20,000 jobs.

Although the number of investors came to Quang Nam province to survey the investment environment in 11 months  increased, but most of them paid attention to garment and food production for livestock projects only. There were not any investment projects of high technology as well as investors of the developed countries such as USA, Japan and Europe.
