(QNO) - Vice Chairman of the Quang Nam provincial People’s Committee Le Van Thanh played host to the Netherlands Consul General Carel Richter in Ho Chi Minh city on September 11.

Vice Chairman Thanh informed his guest of the cooperation between Quang Nam province and the Netherlands’ partners. So far, there have been 5 Dutch projects with a total of investment capital of nearly 154 million USD in Quang Nam. Quang Nam desires the Netherlands to help Cua Dai beach to prevent erosion and to cooperate closely in some bilateral economic sectors. Counsul General Carel Richter thanked for Quang Nam's trust in the Netherlands’ technology and experience in this field. He promised to send Quang Nam’s suggestion to the Government of the Netherlands. Counsul General Carel Richter also expressed his delight in the Netherlands’ services and products used in Quang Nam. He introduced some sectors such as water and water management, hi-tech agriculture, garment applying environmentally friendly technology, new industrial sectors in which Quang Nam and the Netherlands can promote cooperation.
As being planned, Counsul General Carel Richter and four businesses from the Netherlands will return to Quang Nam on September 25.
