Quang Nam leaders visit the Vietnamese Embassy in Beijing

(QNO) - On May 13, on the occasion of their trip to China, a delegation from Quang Nam, led by Luong Nguyen Minh Triet, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, had a courtesy meeting with the Vietnamese Embassy in Beijing.

The delegation was welcomed by Pham Thanh Binh, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Ambassador of Vietnam to Beijing.

At the meeting, Luong Nguyen Minh Triet updated the delegation’s activities in Jilin province (China) and talked Quang Nam’s recent socio-economic developments.

He also highlighted the province's key investment projects, including the expansion of Chu Lai Airport, the Cua Lo Port project, logistics centers, and various industrial and agricultural development initiatives.

Luong Nguyen Minh Triet emphasised the need for continued support from the Vietnamese Embassy to foster cooperation with Chinese partners in such sectors as high-tech agriculture, clean energy, education, and tourism.

He also expressed a desire for the embassy’s assistance in connecting with potential international markets.

Additionally, Quang Nam Secretary requested the Embassy’s continued support for the Quang Nam community, especially local students in China.

On behalf of the delegation, Luong Nguyen Minh Triet thanked Ambassador Pham Thanh Binh and the Embassy staff for their warm welcome and support, wishing them success in strengthening the Vietnam-China strategic partnership.
