Quang Nam leaders visit Prabang province in Lao traditional New Year 2018 festival

(QNO) - Secretary of the Quang Nam provincial Party Committee Nguyen Ngoc Quang has just visited and sent the best wishes to the leaders and people of Luang Prabang province on the occasion of Lao traditional New Year 2018 (12-16.4). Secretary and Governor of Luang Prabang province Khamphan Chanthavisouk played host to Secretary Quang.

At the meeting, the leaders of two provinces of Quang Nam and Luang Prabang agreed to strengthen the solidarity and friendship between two sides in the coming time, especially in tourism cooperation. Mr Khamphan Chanthavisouk hoped to receive the support of Quang Nam province in general and Hoi An city in particular for the sustainable tourism development of Luang Prabang ancient capital- a World Cultural Heritage recognized by UNESCO.

Earlier, Secretary Quang visited Vietnamese Consulate General in Luang Prabang province on the occasion of Bunpimay festival.
