(QNO) - A high-ranking delegation of Quang Nam, led by Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Le Van Dung has just visited the Vietnamese Consulate General in Pakse city of Laos’ Champasak province. Consul General of Viet Nam in Pakse Nguyen Van Trung received the delegation.
At the meeting, Permanent Deputy Secretary Dung talked about the cooperative relationship between Quang Nam and the southern provinces of Laos, especially Sekong and Champasak.
Mr. Dung also sent his best wishes to the staff of the Consulate General of Vietnam in Pakse on the occasion of Lao traditional New Year 2023.
He hoped the Consulate General of Vietnam in Pakse facilitate Quang Nam businesses and people living and working in four provinces of Southern Laos.
Mr. Dung suggested the Consulate General of Vietnam in Pakse facilitating the completion of the traffic system of the East - West Economic Corridor, from Northeastern Thailand through Southern Laos to the Key Economic Zone of Central Vietnam via Nam Giang International Border Gate.
Consul General of Vietnam in Pakse Nguyen Van Trung expressed his pleasure to welcome the Quang Nam delegation to Champasak.
He also discussed the cooperation on investment, economic development, trade and services between Quang Nam and the southern provinces of Laos.
